Jiro is heading to Alexandria Safe-Zone in a pick-up truck with Miles, Roman, and a couple of Saviors when he opens fire on Carol Peletier's car, shooting out a tire. He demands that she surrender and offers to take her back to Alexandria, taunting her as she begins to break down. As he orders his fellow Saviors to secure her, Carol opens fire on the men. Jiro is unharmed but shaken up as he hides behind the truck and hears Miles charge after Carol, only to be killed. Carol tells Jiro she sees him and orders him to surrender, to which he
Rick kills Jiro
refuses. He unsheathes his knife to attack Carol but is shot in the stomach. He is later found by Rick Grimes and Morgan Jones and is briefly interrogated before being stabbed in the head and killed.
